One of Paul's most interesting statements

    May God bless,
    Dwight
If you can breathe, . . . thank God.

If you can read, . . . thank a teacher.

If you can read in English, . . . thank a veteran.

Don't forget... I am Lutheran. Do not be getting down on Paul! Thems fighting words! (Note: I have not listened to it yet, but will after I write some more for the blog.)

It took me a while to comprehend that there are lots of people, who think that Christianity is foolishness. They look at it, and gape at it and walk away, with no apprehension of it.
So they call it brainless, and then they find those who are like them, to associate with. They are a separate realm, and there is little understanding, between the Christian and the World.

I believe what Jesus preached, such as the rich man and Lazarus; I don't have any doubts that it is true. For those that do doubt, and who scoff, that is their problem; they have their disbelief and I have my belief. And that is just how it is.

    English Standard Version
For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

“He had been all things, and all was of little value.” Said of Severus Emperor of Rome.

(As quoted by Gibbons, in Decline of the Roman Empire.)
