had one of these guys show up at pheasant hunting camp once.... he came to hunt... didn't bring a gun.... and quit halfway through his first walk to go back and help his girlfriend (who brought him) bake cookies.. we still joke about him to this day many years later..... bake us some cookies is now our go-to line when someone takes a walk off...

Not to change thread, I had a brother in law who when in his early 20's (I was 28) proceeded to burn

down the apartment building he was living in.

After blowing a few joints and whatever else was taking,

he passed out on the floor, with a lit joint on the couch.

Someone called the FD, they pulled his ass out but could not save the building, three stories, wood frame.

I was not told of the reason he was homeless directly,

he needed a place to stay and the wife let him come into our home.

I had just bought the house that year, a Victorian with 15 rooms.

I read in the paper a day or two later where the fire started,

I told him not to do or have drugs in my house or out the door.

The slob just laid around all day, no job, watched television,

bitched when I came home from work and changed the channel.

Sum of the story after about three weeks,

I came home from work, and scraped his OD'D ass off the floor,

and literally threw him out of the house and down the flight of stairs.

Told him if he ever came back in the house I would kill him, never came back either.
