Well we had more rain this afternoon only a 1/4" this round. Were approaching 5 inches for the month of July!

I wish we were! The monsoon season started about a month early this year. We had almost 5 inches of rain in June which is VERY unusual. And since almost NOTHING. Last night we got about 3/10ths, but that is the only rain we have had for the last 2 weeks. I hope it picks up between now and the end of August or we are going to be hurting bad.

We want some pictures when the excavator gets there.

We are in mild drought conditions. Most rain has been thunderstorms instead of a slow steady soaking rain.

Western WA state is in it's drought period - July through Aug: mid 90's, no rain in sight...we get it for the other 10 months...

Hope your build can continue soon!
    Peace,

From NEWA website, doesn't have all states but good coverage for eastern half of USA

    https://newa.cornell.edu/all-weather-data-query

    Closest station to me

This June-July has been dry, 4.85" last year was soggy wet 11.85", 13.74" through end of July

I checked Zanesville OH, they are at 11.5" (took a guess in closest station?) Jun 1st - July 23rd, about like we were last summer

Really dry out here. Fire restrictions in almost every county and on all State, BLM, and G&F lands. What are these Ponds of which you speak?

Yes I'm about 20 mile south of Zanesville. I purchased my own weather station a few years ago. It seems to be actuate. But our power was out a couple of times when it was raining so I figure its calculations are off a bit.

We had about 4 REAL dry months. Now, we are back into our normal rainy season. Just like clockwork, 4pm every day, thunderstorms. Just looked at my digital weather station. 97 degrees this afternoon.
