Notice how it really doesn't gain any altitude -----

Should have a ballistic chute in the roof area -- ?

My first thoughts also, why isn't it going higher, but would you want to? at the altitude he was fling he'd survive, any higher even with a chute?

It may have to do with the FAA and weight.

I know that if it is light enough and low enough, you don't need a pilots license for it. It would be an ultralight I think is the classification?
"Every person’s life is theirs by right. An individual’s life can and must belong only to himself, not to any society or community, or he is then but a slave. No one can deny another person their right to their life, nor seize by force what is produced by someone else, because that is stealing their means to sustain their life. It is treason against mankind to hold a knife to a man’s throat and dictate how he must live his life."

IIRC, they can operate up to 1,200 AGL in uncontrolled airspace,

cannot enter controlled airspace without a radio for comm. with CT.

They cannot operate in TCA space, but can under the TCA cone.

You would NEVER, NEVER get me in one of those junk piles, same applies for ultralights and gliders.

Had a friend who I helped build a kit HEILO, wanted me to try it out,

no F'KN way, nothing ever with a glide ratio of a rock.

That thing would have to have a remote control for it just like its drone cousins,

why? to take over when I turn to stone from fear!

I am terrified of height, I am sure I spoke of being 16 years old

and freezing solid on the Empire State Building observation deck.

They had to pry me off the railing and drag me to the elevator, out and into the second elevator.

That problem does not apply to me and powered aircraft, thousands of hours as PIC prove that.
A STORM IS COMING! LET'S GO BRANDON!

We have an Ultralight Club near us. (I think that is what the parachutes with big fans on them are called). I've seen those guys get pretty high up there.
