April 8 solar eclipse: Why Texas officials are warning people to stock up on food, gas.

Texas, Mike Jones, Hays County, Texas’s direct of the Office of Emergency Services, said the area is expecting thousands of visitors to arrive to see the eclipse. To prepare for the crowds, Jones advised residents to stock up on groceries and fill up on gas. If they are out on the day of the eclipse, he recommends residents “pack your patience.”

Seems more like avoid going out on the day of the eclipse. Stock up on what you might go out for that day.

They forgot bullets; make sure you stock up on bullets. It sounds like there might be a lot of yankees in town that need shooting that day.

I can burn my eyes welding without a helmet. And I can do that any day of the year, morning or night. Don't need to watch no stupid eclipse.

Ain't it kinda funny, the eclipse lasts one day and they want you to stock up. If you can't make it through ONE day without needing to go to the store, you got bigger problems.

I read your link. That 'Texas official' is a woke puke trying to justify his job. The folks in rural Hays County can easily handle whatever comes.

That would be the only reason I would go to Hays county. I don't know whats got this Mike Jones panties all in a wad. It ain't like we haven't ever seen an eclipse before and once you have seen one then you have pretty much seen them all. Wake me if it's an Asteroid heading for Washington DC.

I was travelling for business this week and one morning in my hotel room I turned the TV on to the weather channel. I saw one of the Weather Chicks FREAKIN' CRYING REAL TEARS OVER SOME ECLIPSE THAT HAPPENED A WHILE BACK!

What in the actual phuckh is wrong with people!?!?!
