Knots are one of those things that you have to consistently REMIND yourself to practice, practice, practice.
I should read my own advice from time to time.....

Love knots. I grew up on a farm owned by a WW2 Navy veteran. Trust me, we learned knots!

I had a length of rope I used to sit and practice with after watching gifs. I got pretty good till I quit practicing, now I rely on the basic three or four I have always used.
