Think I might look into this a little closer
A new caregiver told me about this site while feeding Mom today.
It's her Pops and is local to me.

I haven't seen them there but I wasn't looking specifically either.

I would look at replacing the cheap plastic canteen with a stainless steel one. I highly recommend a Stanley 1.1 quart Stainless Steel Canteen. It is a single walled design. It is kind of spendy though ($25-$30). Amazon is also the only place I know of that sells them. I cut the nylon strap off of mine and the two C-rings that held it on. You can feed a small wire through the parts where the C-rings were held onto the canteen. The canteen is very similar footprint to a USGI style canteen. Although, I will add it is a touch taller and might not fit in a pouch nested with a cooking stove.
I prefer a stainless steel design for a few reasons. I can boil water in it if need be. Why would I want to boil water in a canteen? If I am out camping (or bugging out) and it is super cold, I can place the heated water from my canteen inside my sleeping bag to provide me with extra warmth. Also, bugging out during the winter might mean the water you are carrying freezes. I can heat my canteen up to thaw my drinking water in the event that happens. That canteen also has a wider lid which makes it easier for cleaning. It is also comparable in weight to the plastic USGI canteens, and I do not have to worry about chemicals from plastic leaching into water. I also saw a video where a guy used this particlur style of canteen for making char cloth. This canteen can do a few more things than just carry water which makes it fairly versitale. I would look into at least carrying one in a pack.
