I have enjoyed photography for many years and have quite a few pics on my computer. I have two cameras now, A Nikon D7000 and a D40, along with several lenses and other accessories.
Here a few pictures i took, nothing fancy.

I used to like to dabble with my old Pentex K1000 manual everything camera I took some really cool shots back in the day.
Now can't even find film or hardly anyone to develop it.
Had a few lenses for it had lots of fun with it.

Takes a bit of the skill out of it but I do need to get one of them there fancy cameras one of these days. All I use lately is the stupid phone.

I think it's better, and I used to have the dark room and everything! Now you don't have to wait on the film, you can take multiple shots and keep only the best ones, and you can fix them a little in photoshop.

I find that with our Gallexy 8's cell phones they take better pics that my old camera.
I have a small
power shot A590
small enough to fit in my pocket and take it to car shows.

I hardly see anyone with a camera any more mostly phones. Cricket over at PF takes some good shots with her I Phone

My Samsung Galaxy s8 takes some pretty good pictures compared to the Nikon I used before the phone. Also takes some clear video

One of the major differences in a phone camera and this:

Is that the size of the image sensor is much much larger in the DSLR camera. I am not knocking the phones of course, but you have way more control over your pictures with a camera like in the picture, if you are into that. Also, you can blow them up really big without the image becoming real grainy. And, you can take "trick shots" like this:

This vehicle was only going about 30 mph, but I used a very slow shutter speed and followed the vehicle by moving the camera along with it, resulting in what appears to be a car moving at high speed.
