RealID has been in the process of implementation now for several years, it went live 05FEB2018.

I've seen the KY state drivers' license pictures systems, they are FAR from compliant with this.

The AZ drivers license says "NOT FOR FEDERAL ID" right on the front.

We will not comply! (Unfortunately, that means I am going to have to use my passport to travel domestically starting this fall.)

You need to go back and READ the Constitution. Blame Trump all you want, but you seem to want him to be a dictator, when the true responsibility for most of this lies in Congress and/or SCOTUS.

They offer some kind of second ID specifically for federal purposes. I'll just use my passport since I already have it.

I am not calling for a dictatorship. I am just pointing out the hypocrisy off all the Trump supporters who say he is on our side. This was started during Bush 2 in 2005. Trump could still stop it, but he is not truly on our side. So, he won't. Why do you keep defending anyone in this government?

Eliminating the need for a passport as well as rumored to be the cpl putting it all on one ID
As a cdl driver I already have to supply all those peices of ID to get my license so nothing new to me.
As for data base of facials they already have it and probably had it long before that technology will only continue to advance not matter who complains

CT has Real ID as an option for your license now. Have not heard of them implementing it 100%. Will check on that.

I am not, I am simply pointing out that you are asking for things which go blatantly against the US Constitution. You are using falsehoods in an attempt to prove a point.

The reality is the President has NO POWER at this time to reverse Real ID, it is a legislative act. If you read the Constitution, then you know that the only legal method for rectifying that is through Congress.

Never once did I state that. Go ahead and find the quote. See, if you had actually READ my post on SCOTUS (instead of going off on your SHADOW GOVERNMENT conspiracy theory) you would have seen that I stated getting Constitutionalist onto the Supreme Court was important and a step in the right direction.

My point was that you are demanding a President act outside their power, using dictatorial power of which you allegedly are against. You contradict yourself, on one hand you are terrified of a potential dictatorship then on the other hand you demand dictatorial actions.

It does not eliminate the need for a passport, it also has more "hooks," into the federal systems than a CDL does.

You would still need the passport for international travel. Real ID would supposedly ease the process for domestic flights....so they say.

I'm glad I stopped flying before all that RealID garbage, then with some of the other insanity the TSA is trying to pull . . . I would have gotten arrested.
