Dry.. Very dry... Other than that great, pool not open yet (not quite hot enough) even got a beautiful light show (lightning storm I'm high enough to see coastal weather)

With the legs off they closely resemble shrimp. Looks good anyway.

I always thought prawns were shrimp??? I thought it was just another one of the Aussie sayings meaning "big freakin' shrimp". They are different animals? Looks great, by the way Phoenix.

I had a friend who was Australian and he said fosters was pisswater. Said people in Australia didn't even drink it. Is that true?

Fosters IS pisswater! Nobody should be forced to drink it!

Although I have not been to Australia, I am pretty sure their version of Budweiser is Victoria's Bitter or VB for short.

Prawns are larger in size, and have larger legs with claws on three pairs. They have branching gills. Shrimp are smaller, have shorter legs and have claws only on two pairs. Their gills are lamellar, i.e. plate-like.

That it is, 100% born and breed kiwi :) (Black's are up there in the tri nations again :D )

(Kiwis move to aus to avoid the cold, the cost is some freedoms but better jobs and income)

Fosters is crap, if you enjoy a nice drop to try... Order some tooheys extra dry platinums next summer (very expensive here, tho as its premium beer)

Another one if your a sober driver or just want to enjoy a cold one with dinner is cascade premium light

(Only 2 local beers I purchase to drink, tooyheys extra dry is a good one too)

All must be served ice cold :D

Union not league but yes :D

And they are a world class team (in a country of 4 million people) is quite a accomplishment :D had the world cup twice, had both the league world cup and union world cup at the same time (the haka in league, where the english turned their back.. And got a flogging lol)

Theres a lot of good things in Australia. Ive been there. Its just that they are overshadowed by socialism, lack of freedom and the stance on Guns. But if the U.S. catches up in those areas OZ will be a better place than here.
On an Australian side note, it Sucks what happened to Malcom Young.

adding a downer to those down under.

Another thing I like about AU is they prove that gun control doesn't work.

Although they have less violent crime than their sister UK, it is not by much.

Though Piers Morgan likes to talk about gun deaths, he seems to avoid talk about violent crime which is the highest in the UK.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2013/jun/24/blog-posting/social-media-post-says-uk-has-far-higher-violent-c/

This is 1 of 100 facts you can find with a simple google search, I realize I am preaching to the crowd.

I'm glad you have your sea food AU, but I'm not sure it feels good bent over and getting it from your government as you submitted to communism.

Socialism is closer to it here ;)

Gun crime has always been low here, you can still get a gun but there are lots of unregistered firearms here too

The lack of freedoms are a pain, but from what we do (as in prepping) as population, space, and the lack of gun ownership allows a little bit of leeway in plans... And lowers the odds of fighting people that are armed with "assault rifles" but on the other hand.... As a adult if I want to own a "assault rifle" then I should

Still beautiful for a dry hell hole

Regardless of ones country they should love God first, family second, and then country. There is an abundance to love about any country - and likely just as much to despise about any country. I know that is true for the USA and suspect it is true about the rest.
