Ha! Yeah once in a while something smacks me in the forehead!
Yeah dont know why I didn't think of this before.
I've been jonesing for some horseradish cheese and the farmers cheese turned the lightbulb on for the new powder. Might try some fresh grated in the farmers cheese too.

Did a look see on growing some and Gambit is right they will take over the yard if not contained. I may just buy it when I need it. Sounds like less work to me.

WHOA, . . . Hawg, . . .
I never saw or heard of powdered horseradish, . . . used to have a patch of it as a kid in the garden under the plum tree, . . . my folks didn't use it.
Got to liking it as an adult, . . . but I'm the only one at my house.
NOW, . . . with the powdered stuff, . . . I can sit the shaker on the kitchen table with the salt and pepper, . . . when I need it, . . . woo-hoo, it is there.
I just ordered some off Ebay, . . . gonna make sure we have some burgers and cole slaw when it gets here, . . .
Thanks for the idea.
May God bless,
Dwight

Picked one up today this thing was making my eyes water love that smell. Chopped and in the dehydrator. Did you use the Vegetable temp?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181008/1ddffefe3281ae21de8cce25375c836d.jpg

Make sure its small enough to grind it gets pretty hard after dehydrated.
I went about 135 degrees it dried over night but mine was chopped a lot smaller I think by the looks of the picture your showing.

I have used this kind of horseradish, and I loved it. For a creamy style, it packed some heat. The fresh stuff must be great, and you are doing some good thinking with it.
