I have brought up this subject on many other forums and i'll do it again.

Say you have $20 to spend on preps...This time they need to be of the medical supplies variety.. My other threads were more of prepping on a budget of $20 a week and what to buy in general, i want to know what medical supplies YOU would buy with your $20 this week?

What would you buy with your $20????

I know I want to find and get a supply of antibiotics. I have tons of other stuff, but lack there.

Saline solution wash. BIG bottles. Good for washing out eyes, and other wounds. Get the sterile kind.

Fak (can get basic ones for $20) then improve on them ($20 is a decent amount for fak supplies, but goto vets, get antiseptic, bulk antiseptic, its slightly cheaper @ vets than drug store, and same quality)

Sorry for my ignorance. What is the "fak"?

Thanks

If you expect a large number of cuts - especially large or deep ones - a supply of sanitary napkins makes a good sterile and cheap wound dressing.

I'd also invest in some carpet needles (those are the curved ones) and a supply of black cotton thread. can be used for a suture in a pinch. wokrs when butterflys are not strong enough

Me too! Allison and me clean that thing out sometimes. I often wonder if its a bargain when I spend $50 on stuff… :banghead:
