One of PaPa's helpers this year. Meet our grandaughter, Layla. She's going to be his hunting buddy! Loves to be outside, tough as a pine knot, little horse woman.

Grand kids are great. Sugar them up spoil them and send them home.

Exactly. Tho it kills me that I can't help her become the horse woman she wants to be, like I did with my daughter. 8819

How old is he? Hubby started taking our grandson when he was about 9. We bought him a .223 when he was 12. He's 14 now. He's never really had the get up and go about hunting like his sister wants too.

Cute. Hope she enjoys her time learning new life skills and passes them down to her future family.

He is 14, but just recently show interest in hunting, I’m going to do my best to make it a good experience for him.....

I hope so too. She has a LOT of things she likes to do. Very active. I just hope that "future family" is 20+ years down the road!

I can't take any credit Gambit, its the nature of the beastie...she even helped tie the tomatoes. Her brother does too. PaPa is a very patient man.
And he's looking forward to teaching her how to hunt too.
