Here we go...
One of the coronavirus patients is an Oakland County woman with a recent history of international travel and the other is a Wayne County manwho had recent history of domestic travel, according to state officials
Both are middle-aged and both are hospitalized, state officials said.
The coronavirus tests were performed by the state Bureau of Laboratories, and specimens will be sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for confirmatory testing.
“We are taking the identification of COVID-19 in our state very seriously,” said Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, chief medical executive and chief deputy for health. “We continue to urge Michiganders to take precautions to prevent the spread of this virus in our state.”
Officials in Wayne and Oakland counties are working to identify close contacts of the coronavirus patients.
Whitmer stressed the importance of Michigan residents taking basic precautions such as thorough hand-washing with soap and water and avoiding touching their eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.

Talk about chicken little, a"state of emergency " for 2 cases and how does she think creating 4 different task forces to help stop this will help? Or is this just a Democrats need to spend tax payer dollars as fast as possible so they can demand more?

Ct did the same thing. 2 cases of Coronabeer virus, and everyone loses it. HS sports cancelled, St Paddy's parades cancelled, state legislatie hearings cancelled. I think one district shut down school completely.
I went shopping yesterday at the local supermarket and every one of the Clorox wipes, Lysol wipes, store brand wipes...GONE!
Stock tip:
Since the stock market is tanking SOO badly, buy FAZ. I'm not sure how it works but It follows bear markets. When the market tanks, this thing soars!

Maybe the Liberals will use these states of emergency to grab guns for our own safety so there is no riots over TP.

California declared a "state of emergency" after ONE case of Coronavirus appeared in this giant state. State of Emergency = free money from the Feds. That is the ONLY reason these states do this (especially Liberal states). They don't care if we live or die and I'm sure they'd rather us Conservatives died. It's all about getting extra money they can play with.
