Yeah Im screwed! Swell Im almost 60 and and some other issues.... nice knowing Y'all!

For older Americans, the CDC recommends getting a plan together as soon as possible so they’re able to live their lives at home, with no need to go out unless absolutely necessary.

“Know who will take care of you if your caregiver gets sick. Talk to your health care provider about getting extra necessary medications to have on hand,” said Jay Butler, deputy director for infectious disease with the CDC. “Get enough supplies, too. Including enough household supplies and groceries so you can stay home for a few weeks if you have to.” https://www.mlive.com/coronavirus/2020/03/cdc-warns-those-over-60-stock-up-and-stay-home-as-coronavirus-spreads.html

Heck, the wife and I are over 70. Well, it's been fun guys. I guess I'll bend over and kiss my ass goodbye. Here I always thought that we'd be a victim of that Yellowstone volcano eruption.

Heck I'm over 70 and the wife's just turned 64. I'm on break this week but go back to the Prison I work for next Tuesday. We've been telling them for over a month now to cancel visitation. Am I worried (yeah I'm running low on Henry McKenna, but do have a couple of fifths of vodka) so set the world turn:scarface:

Getting ready to batten down the hatches. Not much of a change for me. Might actually get some stuff done here if Lloyd stays home. Or he'll drive me nuts, and we'll kill each other. Either way, It's been a good ride. No regrets.

I am 64 and I am in a public library right now; and if I catch it and die, then it was nice knowing everybody. But I won't be pulling the covers over my head, and crying myself to sleep anytime soon. The Corona Virus is just a dumpster load of crap, from what I can adjudge.

I am always well stocked on what I need, so I'm prepared to hunker down indoors indefinitely if necessary. Got in the habit of buying 90 days of meds every pharma visit, so good there as well. Lots of coffee and bourbon... the very elixirs of life. Even if the virus itself turns out to be a chicken little situation, the response/panic could turn out to be much worse in many ways. I hear some smaller towns ARE running out of food and supplies. Seems to be plenty on the shelves here though.

I'm down to 3 cans of Java, and I can't stock booze\

ETA 2 avoid being a post whore

I'm breaking into my booze stash now.

The beer on the cement pole barn is colder than the plywood floor in the mud room

Mud room is from a boathouse I tore down while listening 2 this

People are panic buying here had one of my regular customers tell me of someone at Walmart with 6 carts the average I hear is 2.

People are starting to make Lemmings look like Steven Hawking. I just don't understand the mentality.

Well, we're in our 60's and dunno if crazy(me) and broken up bones(him) qualify as 'issues' for this... but hell with it LOL. I think we're gonna run up to the casino resort in Bonners for a few days next week; I wanna sit in the hot tub & Tom wants to play the machines. Told him to watch out for cannuck blue-hairs breathing on him.

St. Barts, where I used to Usher may be closed

Is closed per fakebook

Sundays it can have over 200 tithes.

I refused to work with a sick co-worker on Thursday, but she hounded me for an hour.

I now have a runny nose, but I have pollen / dust allergies.

Plus I live in the woods and work in a mill room.

Best way to find out if I'm sick would be to put the bottle down. :beerchug:

I'm fairly well stocked, but I'm not in an at-risk category.

Now my parents, they are over that age and both of them have immune/health issues that put them at risk during regular flu seasons! Yet, they won't stock up on more than five days worth of anything . . . .

I'm in better shape than most young guns , and I haven't been sick in 8 or so years besides my seasonal allergies which started a couple weeks ago.

I'm gonna be 66 this year, wife is 62. She is an RN at a cancer center (adjoins a hospital). Looks like we're both gonna be gone soon. OOOhhhh Wwwell. On second thought, I'll bet it don't beat either of us. She does have bad asthma so I do worry about her but she's tough as nails.
