I always appreciated the story of Thomas and also of Peter who each showed that ,even though they believed firmly in Jesus, showed their human frailty and faults by also disbelieving in his message and divinity at times. It shows that though you are an imperfect believer, Gods grace will deliver you through as long as you do believe in Jesus.
