With this rain, dams are breached in Midland
The Edenville Dam in Gladwin County has been breached, according to a Midland County 911 alert that sounded at about 5:43 p.m. Tuesday, May 19. Residents of Edenville and Sanford are told to evacuate immediately. All Midland residents west of Eastman Road and south of U.S. 10 need to evacuate due to the dam collapse.

I've driven over that dam B4

It's flooding in Edenville too.

"Whenever I listen to Stevie Ray Vaughan... my neighbors do too!"

Mine wood 2, but I blew out my surround sound amp, and blew up my front speakers

* note to self---Turn the volume down a little from 11, B4 switching sources.

That happened a couple months ago, not this week.

I'm sure the Muskegon River is high, with Holloway, Roger's, Hardy, and Croton Dams Flood Gates Open.

Arenac County Sheriff’s Department stated that US-23 has been closed between M-65 and Standish due to possible bridge damage and water over the road. Motorists are advised to take M-65 north to M-55 to I-75 if southbound, I-75 north to M-55 if northbound.

US-23 is also reported to be closed at Omer with the Arenac County Sheriff’s Department advising travelers to avoid the city.

North Forest Lake Road near Alger coming in off Maple Ridge and Yarish Road are also examples of the many roads closed in Arenac County. Maple Ridge is washed over between Seder Road and Voughtmans Cable/Dunn Farm, according to the Alger Fire Department.

The Arenac County Sheriff’s Department evacuated the areas around Townline, Pinnacle, Franklin Trail, and Miller roads today due to flooding.

Meanwhile, Bay County Central Dispatch indicated that North Mackinaw Road between East Neuman Road and East Pinconning Road were closed until further notice due to water over the roadway. Westside Saginaw Road, or M-84, between Delta Road and 3 Mile is also closed due to flooding.

Many other Bay County roads are closing, with the Hampton Township Public Safety Department reporting that Arms Road between Knight and Finn Road is now closed.
