Can anyone tell me how to change my avatar 'file extention' for it to be acceptable here???

Assuming you found where to put it in (Settings>Edit Avatar>Option2) - the only way I know to change an extension is to open it with Paint, then 'save as' to pick what extension you want (after editing the pic to size, dimension or bytes allowed). If your existing pic wont open in Paint - take a screen shot of it and open that to fiddle with to where ya want it.
And yes, I still use Paint. :P

I've used "paint" like Mountaingirl and also its pretty easy with avatar makers free on the www

This is the requirements for this forum-

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 160 by 160 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)

Size is 100x100 so within the allowed range, but is 22KB and I can't seem to get that part (KB's) to change even in Paint...….but I'm completely illiterate when it comes to stuff like this.


So fork it, I'll just go nekkid

Might try saving it in Paint as a .gif
That usually cranks the bytes down.
