I will be honest I don't go to church every week, but I may just start doing that if it annoys my governor as .ugh ssnit seems to be doing to Chicago and the La governor.
I do live my life by the values I learned at church as a kid, I just have been lax in constant attendance, but then I feel anywhere I am I can commune with God.

I was, am a usher at St Barts in Newaygo.

Haven't ushered in 4 years

Can't have guns, cause The Eternal will protect you

They have locks on all doors, and the tithe goes in a safe , behind locked doors.

I axed why don't you trust your God to protect the $$$

Well, this may be the breaking point that will get people off their asses. Bulldoze a Church, violation of rights. But, nothing will happen.

I think St Barts will be untouched, as will Marshall Park.

Bulldozing a church is significant. It might not cause a stir in the heavy left/socialist/sheep areas, but it might cause quite a stir in other parts of the country.

I'm far from religious or Christian, but that would be something over the line for me.

Same here. But I think the lawyers will intervene. If they don't, we know the hors d'oeuvre have been served at the coming luau

Somewhere back around April of 1966 was the last time I sent a bullet down range in anger. It was a warning shot . . . the driver stopped his truck . . . backed up . . . left the AO and I never knowingly saw him again.

The next round was going to be placed on the second button down on his shirt.

Bulldozer operator comes after my church . . . I'll be awful tempted to see if I can't make it two for two . . . and hope he has brakes on that thing.

That is the sanctuary where God meets my congregation on Sunday morning . . . it is the Christian version of the Holy of Holies . . . it is sacred . . . and some power drunk politician who thinks he can do that . . . might not like the meeting me and him will have. One of us won't like it . . . you can bet on that.

May God bless,
Dwight

Personally, I don't care if someone worships the flying spaghetti monster, or Elmo, government does not have the right to destroy a place of worship.

Sadly, I think a lot (okay, all) of the Leftists out there will cheer on a Church being bulldozed.

You know, about ten years ago I was in the position to buy an old Atlas or Nike missile silo complex . . . . I should have bought it and just become a hermit!

Absolutely. As an atheist, I am also a constitutionalist... and fully support the right of religious freedom. Though I don't subscribe to a spaghetti monster... I support one's right to do so.

I belong to the Church of the mythical Elk. The Church is the high elevation mountains and doesn't effect me at all.
