That is 90 minutes to two hours (on a good day) from the outskirts of Lexington. Louisville is STILL out of control from the rumors I'm hearing, so this'll will just be another part of that mess.


Personally, I have around four or five combat loads of 5.56mm so I'm not too worried about them doing anything to me without a fight.

I buy my ammo cans from Sportsman's Warehouse (here in Lexington). They're also the only place who sells the large packs of 5.56mm 62 grain green tip I like, but I haven't looked since the crazy started. While you can never have enough, I would leave a heck of a pile around me!

I never counted my 12ga. I have a can of buckshot, can of birdshot a bandolier, a few boxes sitting on my desk . . . . I just kind of 'buy,' it when I feel like it, or at least when it is not an endangered species.

Easy to count when I stack them in rows and columns. I ran out of 20 gauge hulls to load, so now I'm working on feeding my 12 ga 1100.

The 20ga 870 is useless to me for bird or trap shooting, so it'll be a HD Shotgun.

eta I wont use the 1100 for tactical since the loading ramp is problematic, Ive dealt with it since '78

There might be a few, but there are varying degrees of ex-military; there is a vast difference between someone in the NG who never left their state versus someone with multiple combat tours.
