Those things cost a ton to build and operate.

I knew a flight instructor who was into RC model airplanes.

He figured out that it was cheaper to go fly real ones, he did, ended up as a UPS freight flyer out of Florida.

Me, I just went and learned to fly, bought a brandy new PA-28 R200 to play with, cost more than my house at the time.

When I stopped flying I had about 3,000+ hours, much of it flying freight and aircraft shuttle to new owners.

Some of those models are unbelievably real looking, my hats off to the builders!

My Dad flew them back in the 60's no remote control back then and he built the planes himself RC plane kits were popular back then, They flew them with a hand control lines.
