Dang hawg I had one too!! Bought it in '82 for $500 from Weird Wally's Used Cars on the corner of 23rd & P (his radio commercials always ended with "When you go to P, think of me!") Loved that car, the trunk opened with a big flat blade screwdriver though the keyhole on the lid lol. Fed up with flatland, summer of '82 threw all my stuff in the back and headed out alone for the mountains. That Beast got me from eastern Nebraska to western Montana and back 5 times over the years before it finally died. Cars were made to last back then.

The concept car in the vid is weird, glad ours were little like it.

It was my first car in 1975 paid 25 bucks and a cool slot car set for it. Trannie slipped when cold did my first trans fluid and filter change. Then it didn't slip as much LOL

Yeah trunk was huge could put all you friends in the trunk to sneak them in the the drive movies.

Right!
Slot cars!! I remember those :)
I think we are who we are because of experiences we had. Kids now can't be like us cause they never had the chance to know what life is like without Google maps, if you know what I mean.

One eyed cyclops headlight is cool and the rocket booster on the back.

MY mother and father had one, damn thing was a tank
a asshole with a sporty looking car hit them back in 2000
this car was rusty and always in need of repair and some how won the battle of who can take a better hit
the car who hit them was trashed and needed to be tolled and my mother and father car was driven home with just a nasty dent

My dad had a 1960 Buick Invicta, I think it was bigger than my first house, looked just like the one below.

I bought a 59 Buick 2 dr sedan in South Dakota from an old lady who parked it and quit driving. Nice rust free buford with the 401? Nailhead and 3 speed on the column. Should have kept that one too, you never see the V-8 cars with a manual trans very often. Back then I bought them hauled them back to Wisconsin and sold them.
