Super nice truck, I could never own one though, too tempted to use it as a daily driver.

Heck, I'd two-track it, I can't take it with me.

I had a beautiful 1947 chevy pickup drove as a daily for quite a while. Fun truck it was.

My first two vehicles were a 47 p/u then a 51 p/u in not so nice shape but just felt good to drive.

Learned to drive in a 48 chev club coupe. like everyone is fond of saying...wish I had them now.

First car was a stock 40 Ford 3 window coupe, yeah I wish I had that now instead of the 1955 T-bird sitting in the yard.

First was in 1957.

Second was a 1951 Ford custom 2 door.

First truck was a 1980 ford F-150.

Second was a Ford 1985 F-350 for shop use.

Now just two Jeep Grand Cherokees.

Had two Bronco's when I had the trucks.

I hardly ever drove the trucks, mostly driven by an employee hauling steel or ammo.

That is awesome truck.

I had a 1968 Ford F250 that I was going to totally restore and maybe have an EMP Proof vehicle. Got to pricing everything and since I'm no mechanic, I was probably going to have to hire some of the work out. Simply way too expensive. So I sold the truck.

Maybe one day...

That is an awesome restore. If I owned it, I would have to go climb some stuff, though. I understand why people collect cars and guns, but for me, automobiles are for driving and guns are for shooting.

Hill climbing mud and trails is in my blood!

Heard that! I've been wanting a old hot rod maybe an ole Willys? if I went pickup maybe a old old Power Wagon?

Yea, an old willys would be nice, most the body panels are flat, easy to repair. Even a caveman could do it.

That Studie cab and box are sitting on what looks like a 70's-80's Chevy 1/2 ton chassis. There is a red 57 chevy pickup cab/box perched on an early 80's Blazer chassis in my town. Done perfectly. I did a 1938 chevy cab/box on a Chevy S-10 4x4 chassis back some 20 years ago. Looked to be completely stock when it was done. It had the 4.3 V-6 motor. I should have done one for myself, it turned out so sweet.

Yup they closed off many areas of fed land that I used to 4x4

They did not have closed knuckles during that time.
