Whoever stuck the Mustang name on that thing needs to be fired, that car makes a travesty out of the name. It is ridiculous to name it that, maybe they could use toad as a name.

If I was the CEO of GM, Ford or Chrysler, I'd have the design team build exact replicas using the old dies/forms for the Iconic Cars and Trucks of the 60's and 70's. I'd offer them with 2 packages;

Package 1: Old School Original Style Components

Package 2: Modern Components

I had a 1968 Ford F250 with a 390 cu in engine, 3 speed plus granny gear. Mine wasn't 4WD but I'd want one in 4WD. No AC, AM Radio. That would be cool

I think that would be a freakin' hit.

Cool factor aint there. Nada none zilch. Even the '74 Mustang II with NO V-8 option that year was not as uncool. This being said by a die hard Ford guy! Ill take my old '70 Mercury Cyclone GT any day!

What the fuck is that?!?! That's not a Ford Mustang, that's a Ford Suppository! I don't care how fast it does the 1/4 mile or how fast the top end is, that is a whore's abortion!

Well the mustang was designed as a low budget sports car for the masses. If they sell this one cheap maybe it can fill a similar role in the world of electric cars.
