Out in the bush we get many scrapes and bruises. It is not a foreign thought that one day you may sprain your ankle on a hike with no help around. Here is a method that could give you an edge to fight the pain and make it back alive.

White willow is the most often recommended - I don't know why but it is.

It has worked well for me in the past. There are also plants that are great topical pain killers and work on teeth and burns. DO NOT take internally the plants that are for topical use - you will regret it.
