I've got a m22. Bitch about those they are close ratio. I put a m21 in my 73 C10 PU. My 85 C10 has the HD M465, creeper gear

My 68 rs/ss has m20 and 3:08 12 bolt rear. 1/4 you only use 3 gears, shift into 4th just when speedo buryies, but it pulls redline/6500 in 4th with old school L60-15s on back. That's got a built up SPHP 69 370/350 from GM.

I have an old 10 bolt posi rear end around somewhere with 4:56 Zoom gears.

I junked a 79 C10, Had lots of good parts, saved 12 bolt a 3:73 posi rear from that and other stuff. Width is about same as camoro/chevelle

It's out of a 79 old Omega (Nova) and I have a 3:23 posi out of a 79 Trans Am...again...out back somewhere.

To bad GM went to hell. You could swap parts from most divisions and go from a 230 I-6 to a 454/455. I put a muncie from a 65 GTO in my 73 C10 truck, when that started popping out of 4th, another muncie from a 72 vette, but had to change front yoke to fine spline. Every thing else bolted up perfect
