I was told by the previous owner this was an apple tree. But this is the weirdest apple I've ever seen. Looks like a pear to me. This is the first year this tree has produced for me. Anyone have any ideas?

I’ve seen apples like that in Jamaica. What does it taste like?

Stay away from that! That is a homo-fruit! They started planting those all over Minnesota about 30 years ago. They make you into a homo!

Only when I know you are visiting.

I never ate no homo-fruit! I try to avoid all fruit because you never know when they try that cross-pollination stuff with 'em! First you cross-pollinate, next thing you know, you are cross-dressing! No way Jose!!!

Looks like the pears on my trees.

Try using lead snap or a similar ap. Take a picture of the leaves and it will ID the plant or tree.
I find this a ap worth having on my phone.

I picked one and ate it today. Definitely not a pear. It is an apple. It wasn't quite ripe yet, still a little hard.
