This will be happening in the US by 2022. Some states already have those laws in place, if parents do not get their children vaccinated it is considered abuse. The only ones I know of off the top of my head are CA and OR, but more will follow.

People in South Australia will be forced to download an app that combines facial recognition and geolocation. The state will text them at random times, and thereafter they will have 15 minutes to take a picture of their face in the location where they are supposed to be. Down thru the years . . . several times I was reminded it was a good decision not to do so.
