Reminds of school days, a friend had the same 70 TA in white, 455 HO. I was with him when he raced another kid with a Rustang Boss w/351 Cleveland.

My friend was ansty, and missed 1st shift at ~60 mph, went to 4th instead. The BB 455 didn't care and beat the pony car clean......

The other this reminds me of, is Thunderbolt and Litefoot, with Eastwood before he got woke/senile

What is horrible is they destroy that Firebird in the movie.
