A good friend told me the other day . . . his wife and 40 some yr old daughter both caught it a year ago last month.

Both were seriously and really sick.

My friend ushered his wife to the couch . . . they avoided contact for however long . . . until she got better.

He said he felt a bit run down . . . but considered it just all he was having to do extra at 75+ yrs. His son in law was the same at 40+ yrs . . . separated as much from his wife as he could . . . and wore out for all the extra work.

Last month or so . . . son in law needed to be checked for antibodies . . . sure enough . . . he had them. He had had covid and didn't really know he did.

Same for my good friend. After the son in law told him about the antibodies . . . he got checked . . . he's got em too.

Friday I had a runny nose. Saturday I worked 4 hours in high winds cleaning brush, cutting down trees and running fence wire so the horses to easily get to a new pasture. It was hard work and when I was done i was beat.

Sunday my wife ran a marathon and I watched…. Just watching her tired me out. I was very sore. Aches. Figured it was from all the work Saturday.

Monday i went to the range with one of the granddaughters and had a blast (her favorite rifle is the 1951 marlin 3030). When I got home I decided to take a nap. 3 hours later I woke up with a fever, chills fatigue and a massive headache.

Took the test and it glowed bright red positive. ****.

Took some Motrin, HCQ, ivermectin and the normal recommended supplements and then went to bed.

Woke up this morning like nothing happened. Slight cough but that’s it. Fed the horse, chickens and other animals, etc. like a normal day.

But I am isolating from the rest of the family although I think it’s pointless.

But.. wife’s youngest daughter is here with her dimwit BF to have her baby. She’s almost 39 weeks. Wife will deliver the baby (that’s what she does). So they want me to isolate out of caution. No problem.

So I sit here in bed typing..feeling completely fine and completely useless, more so than normal. I’ll test again Friday and then get back to normal.

Normally, I would agree. However evidence has shown that covid effects pregnant woman about to deliver very differently.

Evidence has shown there is more bleeding and cases of uncontrolled hemorrhaging during delivery when the woman has covid than when she doesn’t have covid. So the risk are high and the people doing the delivery want to know if it’s the flu, a cold or covid. Hence the home test.

You will never see this data about covid and births in any media.

My point is, you can have it and not know it, so being afraid to pass it on should be a daily (test daily) effort/concern. easier to assume you always have it and ain't a damn thing you can do about it not being passed on because it's a ****in virus.....

But during a pregnancy you test for a variety of things and risk factors. Even if we were asymptomatic she would be tested as a risk factor for hemorrhaging.

I understand... but if everyone is not testing daily, it's kind of just for show.... at the Height of the "pandemic" my mother went through the effort to wipe down her groceries, and tons of other nonsense so as to not get covid, but would then throw parties in her garage, but socially distance.. with only 1 bathroom.. and 3 doors with handles on the way to it... I can at least semi-respect those those that totally commit to the charade of keeping "safe" from the virus.. the thing with the virus bell-curve, the number under the curve is the same, just drawn out with mitigation efforts...
