We've seriously discussed a sawmill. We've got so much cedar on the place it would pay for itself.

The drip system for cooling the blades on the HF sawmill is absolute crap. Whatever you save on the initial purchase will more than be eaten up buying new blades for it.

A portable sawmill is definitely a tool where you get what you pay for. I have looked pretty closely at several and I think if I do end up getting one, I am going to go with the Woodmizer LT15. Unfortunately, tricked out they way I would want it would run about $15K. I can buy a HELL of a lot of wood for $15K!

The 15 in the LT 15 means 15K . :woodchipper:

Yep. Woodmizer is what we were looking at. There are a few around this area. Several people have the portables.

That looks to be just another HF cheaply built, disposable POS.
