I say Building the Leather Business . . . as in "I plan on doing this".

I have to go see "a man about a horse" . . . in this case the horse is a sewing machine . . . a very nice one . . . one my son should sell one day for at least what I paid for it . . . or thereabouts . . .

And it will give me some serious working levels I have never had with my present machine.

I plan on seriously updating my offerings of belts, holsters, and want to reach out into the suspender business. Did a combination suspender / holster setup for a friend last summer . . . he liked it real well . . .

May offer more of those . . . as well as just leather suspenders . . .

Plus . . . gonna get crackin on my forge . . . got some things I need to drag out of the forge . . .

May God bless,
Dwight

Prayers up for a successful expansion of the business. I sure love my leather biker vest with secret pockets in the winter. In summer sure love my crotch possum combined with a pair of gym shorts..nail apron and long tail shirt. A leather one would be cool.|https://www.amazon.com/Medium-Summer-Months-Holster-Breathable/dp/B00ZD2UTJW/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2/140-0677170-2256224?pd_rd_w=ytoyG&pf_rd_p=c64372fa-c41c-422e-990d-9e034f73989b&pf_rd_r=7C9KJWV0XF54KKTKA3H6&pd_rd_r=bdb4ab4f-9460-41a0-8d13-276f47d989fd&pd_rd_wg=ms4sc&pd_rd_i=B00ZD2UTJW&psc=1

Glad to hear your keeping it going Dwight. It just so happens I have come into possession of a colt python I'll be needing a holster for. I think MG is looking at a holster for one of her pistols as well. I'll get with you on the details.

Just an idea... My Python looks really slick in the cowboy rig Dwight made for me. Just sayin'...

The matching belt is a tad wide to ride a horse comfortably with so I usually just wear the holster on my normal belt during round ups. It is absolutely perfectly canted to grab while riding. (Snakeshot does work well to get a stubborn bull moving.)

I saw an old Singer at my volunteer place. I'm not sure if you can adjust the stitch spacing though. It's not froze up .

My friend said to drill holes in the leather before stitching. He did canvas work for Miller's in Harrison Twp, MI

Pastor Dwight,

I always wanted to have a holster made out of one of my baseball gloves. This Nokona has the best leather and was curious if you think you could make a Holster out of it?

Send me a PM and we can work out the details if you are interested!

Thanks.

I lug my old Sig 226 forty in the strong side part and and a full magazine on the weak side. Wore it for two summers..not sure it could be beat for warm weather carry or where being ultra concealed in winter is necessary. It draws remarkably easy from a pair of the skin tight Wranglers I wear in Winterl. Its a cheap knock off version of one which I toted for years prior called smart carry. I had the bigger denim model of that one. It held a SW 4506 full magazine or two..wallet..half pint of magic elixir etc. Folks dont normally stare at that area. Its also an ideal ergonomic way to tote a big pistol. The separate belt on the inside don't pull a persons pants down and puts the weight directly on the hips which is a good place for it and pulls straight down up front. Just like a low mounted big belly sorta.
