I surfed S.D. and Baja.
Can't wait to see video of guys lucky enough to be on the water when waves hit.

What’s interesting is the shock wave from the explosion.

4.6 ft are perfect size for long board surfing. Better grab my stick.

I liked to trim up the O/D in a 3' chop to get my hull out of the water and pick up 5 MPH, from 50 to 55 MPH on Lake Sainte Claire.
I had to watch the temp gauge though

Probably nobody would have even paid much attention if some grandstanding worry wart hadn't declared the world was coming to an end.

Four foot wave ?? Mission Beach in San Diego had bigger and better stuff than that on a slow day.

May God bless,
Dwight

So you're familiar with Mission Beach huh? I've surfed down in that area a lot back in the day. Did you ever live there or just visit?

USN kept me in the San Diego area when I wasn't in or around 'Nam or Subic Bay . . .

Visited the place . . . got the absolute worst sunburn of my life on the beach there.

I never did dig surfing . . . but it was fun "girl watching".

May God bless,
Dwight
