Nice, but, mine has been gone for 32 years.

Daughter and I have our own celebration here.

I had to act as both parents while she was growing up.

Took total custody of her when she was seven years old, she is thirty three now..

It was not an easy task, but we survived it all so far.

You are apparently very well blessed my friend . . . but I'm sorry to read that first line.

Our son is 42 now . . . only child . . . not sure I could fix him and make him any better.

That is a great statement for your son!

My mothers greatest joy was having a granddaughter, the only grandchild from three sons.

I would bring my child to her on Friday night and pick her up Sunday afternoon.

She would look forward to seeing her and spoil her rotten and loved every minute of it.

My doctor brother was too busy building his career to have kids, now regrets it in his sixties.

He was given two step kids with his third marriage, adopted both.

The other one had no interest in becoming a father let alone getting married,

just interested in women who were past menopause, old enough to be his mother for the most part.

He died alone in the house, no kids, no wife, no girlfriend and again no kids , legit or not.

He ended himself 10 years after mother died.
