When it breaks down beside the road . . . use your insurance to have it towed home . . . fix it . . . head out again.

That is my avenue of travel . . .

May God bless,
Dwight

I found a small piece of electrical tape over the check engine light works well.

I hate that Check Engine Light. Every time it comes on I dutifully stop the truck, get out, open the hood, and make sure it's still there. Yep, every time it has been there. Stupid Check Engine Light.

My last truck, a 1989 Chevy S-10, had the "check engine" light burning for 15 years straight. Most reliable vehicle I ever owned. I finally replaced it with a 2001 S-10... this one has the CE light on as well. It's been almost a year, and it is just as reliable as my older one. So maybe the light should read: "Check out this engine, it's awesome".

On my older Jeep I am replacing the lower front coil spring support bracket, spring pad, shock and sway bar strut.

A pain in the ass it is, cut off the old one, ground off weld and waiting for the new parts from Rock Auto.

I was on a sleeping pill when ordering the parts a week ago last Monday, forgot to push the submit order button.

I checked today, the parts were suppose to be here today, order was never complete and was still waiting for that push!!!!

Now I have a another weeks wait, OK, well, tomorrow I will replace an M4 barrel for a PD,

install a new CO detector that has been here a month.

Got other thing to do until they get here. ME IDIOT!

The other jeep has an engine light on, been there for a month now.

Problem is an O2 sensor, bank one #2 sensor, have new sensor but no ambition to put it in.

Yes I do have an OBD analyzer, works great, but it is just like people, it tells you what is wrong but won't fix it for you!
