Sooooooooooooo -- we were talking about selling my 2012 Sonic ----- nothing special just a reliable grocery getter ----- 28 MPG average --

Rounding off the numbers ----- I paid just a little over $4000. for it 3 years ago ------ to help with the medical bills & we always go out together ----- what the hell -- dont really need 2 cars now --

Went on the Carvana web site -- sent them pics of the front and back pics of my license ( ? ) - title and odometer --- about 20 minutes later --- "We'll offer you (again rounding off the numbers ) a little under $6000." ----- What the fuck --- a no brainer even for me --

Made an appointment ----- drove the 5 miles -- Wifey went in & came out with Mark ---- nice pleasant white guy ---- ( where's all the nigs I see in the ads ? ) -- he looked the car over --- showed him the new lower grill I bought to replace the damaged one --

Signed a few papers - yes its mine - it wasn't in a flood - yes that's the true mileage ---

He removed my Ricekila tags -------------------------- and handed me a check for the offered amount --

Drove as fast as I could to the bank to deposit the check and Wifey surprised me with some pistol money when she came out -- :thumb:

The only got-cha --- if I wanted them to pick it up ---- $75. is taken off the purchase price ----- pricks ----

And last night just for shits & giggles -- on their site I found only one 2012 Sonic --- $12,000. - or something like that ------

Over the years I bought & sold a bunch of cars / trucks ------------------ I cant believe how E-Z this was ----- :thumb:

I have had great success buying and selling with Carvana.
Used them four times for vehicles. They are a little pricey currently for me to shop for a second truck through them. I’m waiting for the real prices to come back on used vehicles before I buy.

I've personally never known anyone who bought or sold a vehicle using Carvana...but dang, Rice and Box of Frogs got me thinking...this may be the way to go in the future...

Kind of on the same subject, I also decided to check to see what they'd offer me, I checked with three different companies, Vroom ended up offering me the most, they also asked if it was okay to let other local dealerships know, I said sure and about received about six emails inquiring, I ended up selling to a local dealer for more money.

I've sold 2 cars to Carvana. My Mom's car when I was settling the estate. I tried my best to sell it for 13k local. They gave me 15.8k for it. So the wifes Escape a month ago, Didn't do as well. Seems the prices on Escapes dropped since we ordered the Jeep. Still we drove it for 2+ years for less than 3k and put a lot of miles on it.

I used CarMax once to sell a truck - 2008 (I think) Nissan Frontier long bed fully loaded. I was buying the new C5 Chevy Camaro in 2010. Very smooth transaction. They pulled it into the garage, gave it a once over, and gave me a bit over blue book - no mods to the truck...

It sounds similar to Carvana, which I never heard of...
