So I have a pile of leaves, the swamp lost 1' of water and I can't even burn here, let alone out in the forest.

1. Brown indicates open debris burning is not permitted anywhere within the county. 2. Green indicates open burning is permitted and debris fires are allowed if proper precautions are taken. 3. Orange indicates there are burn permit restrictions in effect for that county. Select your county for information on what restrictions are in place. 4. Gray indicates burn permits are not issued electronically. Select the county for information on where to call for burn permit information.

Is that the eastern portion of Kalifornisttan? Extended outlying areas of Chicago?

Sure sounds like it . . .

May God bless,
Dwight

I've got a pile the size of a small house to burn. Cleaning up from last months heavy wet snowstorm, I spent a whole day with a friend pulling huge piles with choker chain and a full size tractor.

We've got the red flag here too and no soaking rain in the forecast for near future.

We’ve had a very wet spring here. I just planted new grass seed and of course now we are in a mini-dry spell. Today is only 25% humidity and we are under a fire warning due to dry and windy conditions. New straw I put down to cover the new grass seed is now blown all over the yard.
