I built a deer stand 20 yrs ago from an old steel rack used by factories to store stuff outside . . . these were for storing full 55 gallon drums . . . 4 to a pallet . . . and each rack would have had 2 pallets . . .
So in a short . . . they are some kind of heavy duty.
Had to put braces to hold em up in the wind . . . and tied it off on the other side to a dead tree trunk.
Anyway . . . finally got a roof on it . . . some sides to make me a cubby hole to hide in when the weather is nasty . . .
It overlooks my corn feeder and manger for clover hay that I put out there for them.
Had a bow hunter ask if he could use it in case he hit one and couldn't find it . . . I told him to have at it.
Just wish I had the cash to run a 12/3 underground line out to it . . . I'd drink coffee and play computer games . . . waiting for one to come along.
Might still do it . . . if I can find the wire cheap enough.
May God bless,
Dwight
