A guy who is maintenance for one of my customers came up to me with a project. Someone in his family, maybe dad or FIL, not sure, has a older model power wheelchair or scooter. The original aluminum drive wheels that turn the rubber tires wore itself bald and slips alot. He went to buy more but company discontinued that part.

I normally try not to do cash work for individuals, since they usually want custom machining for something at production chicom pricing, but if the guy is handicapped, and having trouble getting around, and I can help, well sure, I'm gonna.

T-Dad 1066 told me as a youngin, "always help out the old folk, one day you gonna be one".

Glad to have you in the group T man . . .

Ya did a good job . . . we're all proud of ya.

All I did today was make a coconut creme pie and a lemon meringue pie for Bible study.

May God bless,
Dwight

I don't eat alot of sweets, but lemon meringue is my favorite, and I can destroy the coconut creme as well!

I went to my customer's shop to drop off a custom gear to replace a damaged one. Told the boss I had them scooter drive wheels for his maintenance guy. Boss man says he called in, had to take his Mom to the ER this morning. Maintenance guy is mid 60's. Thought he said the scooter drive wheels were for his dad or FIL, may have been for her. At any rate, told boss man don't sweat payment, the guy is taking care of his folks, God bless him! He is a good dude!

Went to the customer's shop the other day. Ran into the guy. He said the knurled rollers work perfect, his Mom is scootin all around!
