Odd pistols...

I am looking at a couple things on Armslist.
It's just gonna take some work to make a secure purchase.
However...I'd prefer to buy from someone here.

AMT Automag III in 30 Carbine, and
Wyoming Arms Parker pistol long-slide in 10mm.

These are currently listed, and I am working on the Parker, but I figured I'd throw it up here.

I had an AMT Automag II in .22 magnum. Never really got attached to it. Sold it 30 years ago.

I have held one. There is no way I could comfortably shoot a Grizzly. The grip is too big. My Automag IV's fit my hands well. Also, you don't control 45 WinMag...you ride it out!

Prices have nearly tripled since they were introduced.

Some states won't let you have a legal gun, in your own house, unless it is "locked up". The fact your home may be locked up don't matter. That is how ass backwards some state regs are. Those are not regulated.

If they took shotshells, they'd be a sawed off shotgun.

I also like the fact that as a ML, every load is a handload. You can load slugs, buckshot, birdshot, rocksalt........besides self defense very versatile for hunting or use on varmints.

Yes, I could build that. I actually have plans for several guns I could make. My next AR will be in 357 AR Maximum, that I do the barrel drilling and rifling myself.
I don't want an AR pistol.
My 45 WinMag Automags use 26.5 gr H110 behind a 230 gr XTP for 1600 fps. I have a 223 load of 26.5 gr BL-C2 behind a 55 gr fmj for 2800ish fps.
The Automag is exponentially more fun!
An Automag III in 30 Carbine is just giggly!
