Not really built but more carved. And we don't have a "what are you carving" section so it gets dumped in here.
This is one of my new time consumers. My first bear went to my parents, my second went to my in-laws. Next I hope to make a big one for myself. This one, however, was made for a local town auction. MIL lives up in the mountains in a small town and asked if I would carve one to be auctioned off. I'll let you guys know what it went for after the auction on the 7th.
My new Stihl wood carving chainsaw made the process easier than the last two because you can get more detailed with it. This one was about 10 hours or so of work.

We bought her "Mom" a wood bear for their 60th wedding anniversary party last month. It was $250 and looked a lot like your pic
And I got solar panels and CV woofers

Someone at work asked me if I could do a Fox seeing as that is his last name. Eventually I'm going to do a Sasquatch (obviously).

Here is the final version of the bear at the Mountain Jamboree today. They decided they liked it so much it wouldn't be in the raffle but instead put it into the silent auction. The starting bid was $100 and when all was said and done they got $150 for it. Not too bad for a third attempt at a chainsaw carved bear. It was for charity so I didn't make a dime off the bear but I ended up getting free parking, a couple free beers and a free Mountain Jamboree T-Shirt.
