Springfield Armory XD-M Elite 9mm

This will be my first Springfield anything, I do like the grip safety as I'm a 1911 guy, the price seems really fair, I should get it next week and I'll let you know what I think, anyone have a Springfield or any thoughts on them?

My shop pistol is a Springfield XD40. 4". I have had it for maybe 7 or 8 years. Bought it used, it may have been a service pistol, or maybe my Glock 23 was the service pistol, mashed potatoes for brains some days. I am fine with it, simple chamber and rack indicators. I don't think it has ever jammed or failed to bang, but I have put less than 1200 rounds thru it. FWIW I purposely don't clean my firearms every time I use them, I need to know they will work fine in less than perfect condition.
