Okay for 22's, light rounds, in the reviews some liked them for their A/R's, not high end but you don't always need a $500 optic.

I've had a Truglo Red Dot on a Smith&Wesson MP15-22 for years and it works like a charm. Every so often I think about upgrading it and then shoot a few rounds with the TruGlo and..IT...JUST...WORKS!

How the hell can they drop the price from 2 bills to 40 bucks? Maybe an earlier model with a "new and improved" about to be released? Amazes me the quality of optics you can get nowadays for not much money. I spend more than $40 a week on booze that just gets pissed away.

SIG & Crimson Trace have some really reasonably priced red/green dots. I have 2 SIG's and 2 Tru Glow's. They work fine on my AR's.

While technically not a red/green dot scope, got one of these, email offer for $40. Only fired about 100 rds on my ar, we'll see how it holds up. So far, so good!

Trouble with a 4 moa . . . ya can't count on hitting anything much smaller than a volleyball at 100 yds.

My son had one . . . probably still does in a sock drawer or duffel bag . . .
