It’s common knowledge that the US and U.K. gave long range weapons to Ukraine. And Zelenski is using them, but at reduced ranges due to restrictions from Biden and boys. Ok, Putin threatened open war against nato if these weapons are used inside Russia. Supposedly because they require satellite data and operational training that the Ukes don’t have and would require NATO operators. Thus directly involving NATO folks in the war. But Zelinski is already using these weapons at reduced ranges. Therefore stands to reason that NATO operatives are already there. DUH! He already has his justification for war against NATO and the USA.

PO just came in and told me an oil facility inside Russia was hit/destroyed by a missile. Not drone, missile. I'm looking now for a link.

Zelensky just pissed off the Polish Foreign Minister. I'm sure besides NATO, Biden has a cabal of his spooks there too.

This is as close as I could find so far
Drone strike on an arsenal today, pretty massive, 4mi wide area impacted, only 200mi west of Moscow. Really cool vid.

Our "betters" in Washington D.C. would love nothing more than to have a war with Russia (and Iran and China and North Korea). They want a war with anybody and everybody on the planet. Why do you think RINOs like Cheney are lining up behind the Hoe? She will give them all the wars they want. That is also why folks like RFK and Tulsi are lining up behind Trump even though he may disagree with them on several key issues. Hell, that is ultimately why I am voting for Trump instead of even entertaining a 3rd party this time.

I actually war gamed a clash with Russia in the Ukraine back in 2009, it was a war game used to test a MG and see if he was ready for a Promotion as a Theater Commander. Part of my Brigade went over to be 18th Corp Artillery. This was back when I was an FDC for a MLRS/Himar unit. I was lucky to be one of only 2 guys from my Battery to go, part of the reason being I had just been in Germany in 2008 and the Bde SGM was retiring a month after we got back stateside, so he wanted to be sure everyone got some down time to see the sights after we finished as he had never been to Germany. Heck, I got luck y and after the shooting part was done i was seconded to the SGM and got to run groups on their trips, so I had lots of fun times. :yessir:

Forgot my train of thought. When talking to the guys running the wargames, they told me what happens is these are done using relevant Intel of what may be future conflicts and several times the wargames happening came true, with some differences at times.

Russia may lose yet another ally.

India may be supplying ammunition to Ukraine routed through Czechia and Italian sources.

Al Jazeera writes that a Reuters investigation show shells produced in India being exported to Italy and Czechia, then routed into Ukraine.

At some point I think he will unless Xi beats him to it. One of them will get to a point where they feel the right answer will be "if I can't win, then no one will". The problem is being able to see all the warning signs in time they both spout off about it all the time kinda like that idiot from the Hermit Kingdom, that it will really be hard to see the real signs that they have lost their mind.

The US and Canada were running naval ships where Xi said they aren't allowed to again. I am waiting to hear him make some more threats.

South Korea Could Follow North Into Russia-Ukraine War.

Everybody's getting sucked into this thing, maybe we're watching WWIII unravel right before our eyes.

‘if I can't win, then no one will".

I disagree. You seem to be assuming that Russia and China will think they can’t win against the US and possibly NATO. I’m thinking that China could whip our ass right now and certainly within a few years. Maybe Putin, too. Our military is a mere shadow of what it used to be. It used to be that you fought for the guy in the foxhole next to you. Now that guy quite possibly is wishing to be wearing his women’s panties and wearing his high heels…… and our commanding officers are OK with that. I ain’t risking my ass for that guy or those officers.

And the whole Taiwan/China thing……. China’s supply lines would be super short. Ours would be impossibly long. And we don’t have the oilers and support ships to keep our combatants supplied in that conflict. Reports say our supply of munitions only amounts to a week or two of Pacific combat. We ain’t gonna win with that!

So what did we do . . . turn the Ohio class subs into razor blades?

Wake up . . . get out of bed . . . turn off the cartoons.

As long as there is one operational Ohio class sub . . . Russia or China . . . and with the right placement . . . BOTH . . . are nuclear history about 20 minutes after the last one is launched.

And Russia and Chink land both know it.

May God bless,
Dwight

Dwight. And you don’t think that we won’t be nuclear history either? If it goes nuclear, we will all be toast. I;m talking conventional warfare. If the nukes start flying, we all revert back to the Stone Age.

We have been watching it unravel for a few years now in my opinion. It looks a lot like Europe and the pacific in the 30's lead up to WWII. Talk of reinstating the draft, some countries are already moving to a war economy and repositioning of troops and material. A lot of countries have increased their military budgets as well. Alliances have been formed and lines drawn. You have Iran in the middle east, Russia and Ukraine, China and Taiwan, North and South Korea, all are hot spots that that have nuclear options in the mix. The United States is spread pretty thin as it is now, if all four hot spots go off at once?

I have been saying it for a couple of years, war is coming. It's now a question of who fires the first shot and how hot will it be. IMO it will be Putin who will fire the first nuke off, but it just as easily could be the fat kid in Korea or the middle east.

What scares me is that much of our manufacturing base is gone overseas. We don’t make our own drugs. Much of our steel is imported. We don’t smelt lead or tan leather. We haven’t built a new refinery in decades. Damned near everything is imported now days. Hell ,we only have a handful of shipyards left and few shipyard workers. Electrical transformers imported. Even locomotives! GE locomotives are made in Canada. Not a big deal but you get my drift. The navy says they are getting rid of 17 ships because they cannot crew them. How we gonna fight and win a war?

If goes Nukes, not much of anything else matters... Nobody wins! What would be the point? the PTB rides out the fallout and forms new global govt without people/macheinery/experience to make it last? How much of the remaining land for food is fertile and not glowing? those in charge wouldn't be able to run anything for another 1-2 generations...... of remaing people who never knew how to do it in the first place... Either ther is no actual plan, or it is a super shitty one that goes FUBAR after 3 years when their stockpiles run out!

The Brits are getting rid of ships for the same reason. And their Libs are forcing DEI into their officer and NCO corp, and then seem surprised when they can't fill slots.

Agreed. This ain't like it was in WWII where we had a manufacturing base that could outproduce the enemy and the man power that would fight. We now have neither.
