I may be wrong . . . but last time we went thru that area . . . as we headed north on 51 . . . just outside of I believe it was Crestview . . . maybe Philhowser Rd . . .

That was where we saw the sign: "You are now leaving Chicago . . . please have a safe trip"

I may be wrong . . . but I'm pretty sure that was where it was . . . :mocking:

Here's a quick catch-up.
In early '21, my husband was kilt, died in my arms, up on Peaceful Mountain.
Late '21 I drove to Texas to winter over with Prepared One, for safety reasons.
In '22 we got married and bought a big east Texas spread, named it TenOaks, PO retired and we moved out here, and ever since we've been livin & lovin, shootin & bbq'n, drinkin & dancin. Well, more swayin than dancin. LOL

Every time I am on the east coast, I order double grits every time I sit for a meal somewhere. Not one place in Oregon serves them, as far as my 66 years tells me. Only instant grits on the shelves.
