Hey ya'll,
Been having a tough few years just working through my issues, have thought about you guys often always sent people who I met through work this way if they seemed the right sort, I know a few who are at least stalkers even if they don't post.
Lost my Chocolate Lab in Nov 2021 was a rough time, My Brittany looked for her for 6 months every time he went outside. My Psych at the VA thought my Hermit ways were bad enough he set me up for a Service dog. I ended up with sweet little yellow lab pup in 2022 who just became fully certified this April and turned 2 in July. I will post pics in another post. The Brittany is a curmudgeon like most of the people here at 10 but has actually gotten more cuddly since the puppy came on scene.
My gun buying has slowed, I bought one shotgun, a pistol and a suppressed barrel for my Ruger 10/22 takedown since I was last on and that is it I will put pics on another post as well.... can't skip the gun porn.
Truck died, quit working back in March to finally work on my house, has only been 10 years, but I am honestly getting a bit bored not working. But the Chaplin at my VFW asked if I might be interested working for the county VA part time if they revamp their set up I said maybe, just waiting to hear about things now.
I am sure there is more, but the mind is like a steel trap, nothing gets in, nothing gets out. So, I will toss out things as I go.

Welcome back.
Dogs are better than most of my extended family.
Losing a good one is tough, been there.
Glad your back, sounds like the service dogs is helping you find that joy again
Stay sharp, keep prepped

No, just life got busy and then suffered some losses like My Dog, and dealing with all the changes due to the rona, after I got the puppy as my service dog, and we started our training, my kid moved back for a year while he was going to school, and his girlfriend finished her bachelor's on the western side of yooperland. With shortages of people at work I didn't really have the time juggling everything else. I could have made time, but hey personal demons come first. Now that I am not working all the family time at summer is over, I figured it was time to be back and get straight here to, besides I can't work on the house all winter.
Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks, I still miss her, this new girl is awesome in her own way and very much thinks she is a 70lb lap dog when we are at home, and not that we go out for her to work, but for people to say how cute she is, and they love her eyes. I always thought my Chocolate was shedding bad, but the yellow is everywhere and never seems to stop. :boggled:

Welcome back Innkeeper. I guess we all have our little Hells we have to go through, sounds like your getting to a better place now. We should get Hawg to take you off the milk cartons.
