Added ducks to Sasquatch farms today. We aren't going to eat them unless necessary but we will be using the eggs. Got a Pekin and an Indian Runner. They have about another month until they can go outside with the rest of the animals.

So, you are now an official fumb ducker?
You’re gonna have to rent a warehouse to store all of the livestock feed.

I hate ducks they are noisy and very stinky! You'll eat them sooner than you think. :verysorry:

The only noise that the ducks make that I'm familiar with is the splash they make when they hit the water after I shoot them. :biglaugh:

Free range my man, free range!

Supposedly, from what I've read on the interwebz, the breed I got are more quiet then most ducks. They'll only quack and make noise if there's danger. They're supposed to be like guard dogs for chickens. We'll see. If not I'll be posting duck dishes in Kill 'em and grill 'em.

It's cheaper that way, anyway... (Ask me how I know.)

Not a fan of ducks. Like Hawg said, very stinky and noisy. Asa for free-ranging, wait until they start swimming and crapping in your swimming pool.....

I don't have a shed for that but I do have a covered awning area behind my shed where all the critter feed and supplies goes. We buy in bulk.

Nope. That area is fenced off. They won't be able to get into it. They'll get a kiddie pool of their own to crap in.

After a mink got into their coop and murdered them all, we never replaced those ducks. Had a bad start anyway with a Cooper's Hawk ripping up a few ducklings. Stuck with chickens.

In my experience, ducks are EVIL.
Had one, it would pin the chickens by the neck, while my rooster mounted them....It was RAPE..
And, like stated, they dirty up the drinking water, and shit liquid death everywhere.

Had a neighbor behind me in Houston who had ducks. Noisy and messy, one got over the fence somehow and crapped in my pool. I threw it back over the fence and told them I see it again it's dead. The neighbors complained to the HOA when they got chickens and that was the end of that. I'll stick to hunting ducks and grilling chickens.
