I had to share my most recent DIY project that I am working on at my house. My wife decided that we needed a bathroom remodel. I stripped the shower down to bare studs, and started putting up new tile early this morning.

This was, of course, after adding a recessed light to the shower, new plumbing in the shower, and new underlayment. (that was all done last weekend). Next weekend, I will start on the rest of the bathroom. New drywall, electric, vanity, and cabinets.

I do not know what the hell is going on with those lately. 1More posted a pic of his dogs yesterday that was upside down to me but right side up to him???
Here I fixed it (I think).

Well it appears some can see them right side up and others up side down. I posted one yesterday that appeared right side up but everyone kept telling me it was upside down.

I've noticed some other funky stuff going on too. Look at the post counts. You'll see "x" number of replies but "0" views.

Very nice touch with the bench. I wish I had done that to mine. Did you use the rubber layer on the floor under the tile?

No, I actually bought the rubber, but after demo of the old floor and walls, I found out I couldn't use it. So, instead, I put down 5 heavy coats of "RedGuard" waterproofing compound. That stuff is expensive! $150 for 3 1/2 gallons! The rest of the shower got 4 coats.

Yea, the bench was added by request from the wife. It is actually made from a few chopped up cinder blocks, with mortar binding it together. Rock solid.

Very nice looking. Can't be as bad as drywall. Never saw a point to drywall in the first place, except to waste dollars.

Pic is sideways. Can't post any more, because I have "exceeded file size limits"
Posting pics on this site is really a pain.

Looks awesome, nice work. Glad Inor fixed the pics though I was starting to think you had a gravity defying house.
