Anyone ever see a spigot without a handle to turn it on? It requires a square key to turn it on. Good thing to have in a GHB or vehicle just in case.

Can't count how many times I have been at my kids school for practice and wanted to get some water and saw that little square thing and had to just shake my head and walk away.

Pretty heavy though when your counting ounces in a I'm not coming back bag.

I guess I'm asking is it for you to use to turn the water on and off at your own place because you removed the spigot handle or to turn someone else's water on and off because they removed their spigot handle as a theft deterrent. In either case, my vise grips would do the same thing.

In either case, my vise grips would do the same thing.Working your way thru the city on foot or what ever needing water. Commercial building's require this tool to turn the hose bibs on.

Yeah I suppose you could pull the handles at home but to me that would be a hassle. If Im going out of town for a extended period of time the circuit breaker to the well gets shut off.

Channel locks wont work on the commercial buildings. The valve stem is recessed . Needle nose will work thou if the valve is not overly tightened

Multi-use. Plus I just like saying the word SillCock at uppity parties and such. Right befoe I ask the hostess for a plunger!
