Bugging out in natural disasters or SHTF situations means you have to try to survive out in the wilderness. You may find safety in a bug out cabin or decide to simply set up a camp. However, being out there exposes you to a different set of problems, such as potentially deadly spiders and other critters.http://survivallife.com/2015/04/06/guide-to-venomous-spiders/

Thanks Hawg. I saved the chart to my phone.
We have a bunch of black widows, brown recluse and wolf spiders out here. I kill the widows on sight. They are tough bastards too! Wasp spray won't do it, you have to smash them. They are commonly found in the woodpile and dark corners of storage areas. At least at my house.
I rarely see the recluse. But when I do its ALWAYS inside. I set out some glue traps in closets and under beds. Pull them out a month later and the things are loaded with recluse! Kinda scary.
Wolf spiders are a dime a dozen out here. I don't really mess with them because they kill alot of garden pests. I didn't know they had a bite toxic to humans. I also leave the big ass garden spiders alone. The black and yellow ones that make the huge webs. Sometimes I'll catch a grasshopper and throw it into the Web just to see her do her job. I killed one when I was a kid and got a whippin for it. Same story with king snakes.

Rule #1. Don't play with spiders.
Rule #2. See #1...
I always shake my shoes or slippers out before I put them on.
The Brown Recluse is known to like to hide in dark places.
Thanks for the chart, Hawg. Good info.

Recluses actually like cardboard. A lot. So if y'all store stuff in cardboard in a basement that's where you have to be on the look out
